£4800 opening price with reserve not met - I would imagine he is after some amount that means it won't be a bargain anymore
I wanted one of these when I was a teenager in the late 70's....I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder, not really sure what its worth....I saw one similar to this at Mallory a few years ago the six into six straight thru pipes sound unbelievable!
Is the dual-seat made from Lego? I always fancied the idea of owning a Sei but that pic has me a-wond'rin' ...
I like it, think it looks great, but I also loved the Jota until I sat on one. Servicing I imagine might be errr......................interesting
Another bike I lusted after when I was younger,i actually went out and bought one in 2005 ,one of the bikes I wish I had kept, but when I had it I just couldn't seem to iron out the ignition step between 60 and 70 mph, it never ran as it should and in the end I got pissed off with trying and sold it for silly money just before Jota prices went stratospheric!...ouch.
My mate Roger had one in the early 80's and his Dad had a CBX - 6 cyl too. They were both mental (Roger and his Dad, not the bikes)
Benelli made a range of inline fours in the 1970's ,from 250cc up to 650cc ,all were based on the Honda design, they were also the first to bring out a roadgoing inline 6 with the 750/6 in 1974 (I think),followed later on by the 900SEI which is pictured, although non standard i quite like its look, and given the choice between a Honda CBX and the SEI the latter seems far more appealing to me for some reason IM-HUMBLE-O....although both are way out of my current budget
