Just done two weeks in Europe on my 1100, starting Uk, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Luxumbourg, Belgium and home, hassle free, fuel was great as well, fill ups every 115 miles(no light) pushed it to 120(no light) and had 3.5 litres left in res, motorway speeds(85) and generally laughs around all the great mountain passes(Grossglockner, Furka, Grimsell, Stelvio, Umbrail etc), most days riding for 6-8 hrs on saddle(use ducati touring seat) did 11 hr ride from Lux to Manchester. Last year i did a similar amount of miles on my MV F4, ill be doing it again next year on Duke, no luggage apart from my Kreiga R35 rucksack
Love it, did similar on the Panigale last year. Can't say I'd do it again but it was no problem at all other than the percepted waste of putting motorway mileage on the bike.
Excellent. I've done the TT and a tour of Ireland on mine and I hope to do similar to yours next year. Some of my mates want to visit auschwitz and then Munich beer festival. If you could send me details of any must see places or things to avoid it would be a great help.
Stelvio.. Yea it was incredible, I did it on my own, going back again next year, can give you hotels and places to visit
Was an amazing trip, all the roads I did were made for the hyper, I'll do a list of the roads and sights, well worth another trip
The new BT023 then, that's a good combo with the S20 on the front.May go for that when I need new tyres next
