Ok, so the dickhead gave me the wrong manual when I left with the new bike so cant check if I'm doing something wrong...phoned them up but the tech gut's not in today...but he does have my manual there for when I next go in....500 miles to go then.......great! So I want to change the setting for 2 up.....go into menu "Riding Mode" "touring" then you got the helmets showing etc... scroll down 2 helmets then harder/softer etc select ..memorized...exit .....fuck all happens, now't, de nah da, no com..pre..hendo, get back to screen still only showing one helmet. Someone please tell I'm a helmet and doing something wrong.....seems a lot to go through each time once you've made the settings for each of the different configurations ....would make more sense to me if there was a short cut.... please tell there is? I also told him that the trip counter isn't working and that there maybe a bug and software update due...(something he wasn't aware of) part of the same problem? surly not.
No need to go to any riding mode for the load setup, press and hold the left button (Menu/Enter) for a while until the load setup appears, select your load mode using the same button (up or down) and confirm -here's the tricky part- by pressing gently towards south east the same button. Attached also the relevant manual pages.
Just returned from a trip to Germany. Tried to set mode for 2 up, I also could not get anything to happen !!!! Trip counter is a common fault.
NICE ONE ! Good Lad ! Made sense for there to be a short cut ...fucking thing bin driving me nuts. Went out with the Mrs last night still on solo cos I couldn't get it 2 up...f'king awful ride.. felt as soft as shit with her on the back! Cheers! :Cigar:
Wow...that worked. But sooo sensitive. It took me a dozen tries. Key seems to be holding it to the SouthEast once you had selected the mode until it confirmed...and I didn't see that documentation in the manual...!
Tried this on my one earlier, the button is a 3 in 1 job so you need to press the down arrow for 2 ish seconds rather than the menu enter part.
This "southeast" thing is incorrect and does not really exist. In this particular menu , once you have selected the preload you want you simply press the down arrow button for 2 seconds (this must be done within 5 seconds of making your preload selection). This saves the preload setting and the motors begin to make their adjustments.
