Had an unexpected knock on the door, t'was the postman with a parcel from Moto Italia containg my pattern Corse style carbon heel guards. Paid for them yesterday afternoon and arrived in about 20 hours by RM. Have to say every time I have dealt with Rich on Ebay, the service has been outstanding and the parts have been good value for money. Very shiny gloss finish is not to everone's taste but they are for my track bike and will do the job admirably. Andy
@finm Could meet you tomorrow in the lakes/Ambleside/bowness? If that suits you?? I was gonna go to North Wales with @bettes but he's working. Let me know

Popped in to Moto Rapido for the first time. Some lovely bikes, especially the 996R. Friendly chaps but not sure they were to keen on a 6yr old boy wondering about sticking his fingers in things.
fitted some battery cables today. from you know who. i thought it turned over ok before. what a difference. DO IT!. worth every penny.
Out on a ride and a came up behind a silver sports car. Lister Storm. He put his foot down at one point presumably to show me it was fast. I let him go and passed him nonchantly 100yds up the road when he got stuck in traffic. I googled it as I was intrigued what motor it has. Turns out there are only three road going versions left in the world
