Today we rode down to Yeovil as Mel wanted to try the Yamaha Tracer. I took the MT07 out at the same time. What a hoot, loved it. Rode the Tracer as well, was ok, too tall for me even when moving ( the leg position is very long) and the touring screen directed the air slap onto my helmet so had quite a lot of buffeting. Saw several Ducati's including a couple on a 1098 at Bransons, anyone here? Got rained on, fortunately the 749 kept me lovely and warm when I was a bit wet, soon dried off.
Went back to the crash site where the twat hit me 3 weeks ago.whilst i was there numerous idiots all came over the brow like this one did Fractured skull . 3 broken ribs . Fractured sternum. Fractured shoulder. 3 fractured vertebrae Collapsed lung. 6 more weeks in this bloody body brace. 3 am still in pain ........I'm not bitter honest

Woke up to the sun....again, so Mrs Reg and I are taking a road trip. Gonna take a run over towards northern Italy and spend the night somewhere by the sea, first real long run for the DVT with all the luggage on. Never really done Italy on a bike so can't wait to get going....
Here's a turn-up for the books; my mate works for Mclaren and has just ordered a new Honda Civic on a lease scheme they have set up with Honda. He rang me the other day to say that the scheme extends to friends and family if I needed a car. Too late, I said, I've just got another one, but if they do bikes on the scheme I'd definitely have one. Turns out the bikes are on the scheme! Fig will soon be scampering round on a brand new Honda! Sensible head on first though; it's unlikely they'll put the Fireblade on the scheme, more likely to be CBFs and smaller CBRs and scooters, that kind of thing. But hey, beggars can't be choosers. I'll find out what's on the list before getting excited, but I quite fancy a CB1100 retro thang...
one of my customers won a hundred grands worth of honda products last year. new car,new bike, new boat new ride on mower. he hasnt got got a garden, dont like bikes. worked for calmac ferries and never wants to be on another boat again.i have never won anything. wheres the justice?
