  1. Liners for the new shaped panniers on the 2015 Multistrada DVT model. Ducati part number 96780521A, see Ducati UK webpage.

Only used for one trip, 600 miles. Small mark, clearly visible in the photo below - below the P in Performance. This comes from one of the screws that hold the coloured panels onto the lid of the pannier. So if you brought new liners you'd end up with mark the first time you used them.
    Complete with shoulder straps.

The liners open up like clam shells with a zip up mesh cover for both halves.

  2. What do you mean "sensible offers"? How much do you want? I was quite interested until I got to the bit about "offers". If you can't be bothered to set a price, then nor can I.

  3. OK @Pete1950, how about £75 + Postage. Is that a sensible price?

  4. Might be a silly question to ask @steveb123 but why are you selling them ?
I'm asking because I'm interested in them.

  5. Good question. I ordered a new set of pannier liners, along with Touring and Urban packs, when I ordered the bike. I thought that I'd need new liners given the different shape of the panniers compared with the previous design. I've always used liners for touring and wanted to make sure I'd got a set as I was planning on going away very shortly after getting the new bike.

The new "left" liner fits nicely into the pannier but doesn't completely fill the lid. This space could be used (for waterproofs, spare gloves for example) but would have to be packed separately. The old liners have a zip out section which makes them about 2" deeper. I think this was so they would fit into the larger GT style lids. I always used the old liners fully expanded even thought they were a tight squeeze. I thought I'd try the old liners and was surprised they fitted so well given the different shape, and when expanded they fit into the lids if not overfilled.

The "right" liner is shaped in an attempt to fit the pocket formed by the exhaust cutout and actually fits the pannier and lid quite well. However I've always used the space in the pocket for things that I want to leave on the bike (e.g. tool kit, chain lube, first aid kit). I found a bag which fills the space reasonably well (Kathmandu Large Packing Tube) and hold in with heavy duty velcro tape. The old "right" pannier has a flat back which works well with this bag in the pocket. Again you can't over fill the old liner otherwise the lid won't close.

The shape of old liners isn't a problem as I use Eagle Creek cubes (of various sizes) to organise the contents and don't fill out the odd shaped corners so they can collapse to fit the new shape. I try not to overfill the old liners but even so I sometimes need to apply pressure with a knee to get the lids closed. Any gaps at the top I fill with spare gloves.

Sorry about the long answer, hope it helps and hasn't put you off :)

  6. Fascinating insight into your packing regime @steveb123 - bags within bags and heavy duty velcro - loving it.

I can empathise - it took me hours to get my touring set-up sorted the first time. I'm going to take a closer look at those "cubes" though :)

  7. I find the cubes useful as I don't have to unpack/repack everything everyday when touring. I use a Clean / Dirty half cube for jocks and socks - clean in one side and dirty in the other. I use 1/4 cubes for electrical bits & bobs (chargers, adapters, leads) and for pills and potions. Of course there is the danger that all the bags within bags with panniers adds weight and takes up space. It's a lot lighter and cheaper to put your stuff in old supermarket bags in bin liners and then into the panniers :)

  8. Anyone wanna swop larger 73 ltr panniers for standard set mine new not used 2013
