Will do. Its a brand spanka DVT 2015. Came so close to buying one last year but my common sense head took over and bought the GS.
You'll love it. I did much the same thing in 2013 - bought a Skyhook and took off for the South of France. I'd ridden hired GSes from Vancouver to San Francisco and back and from SF to Mexico and back so knew what I wanted from long-distance bike when I needed to move on from my Speed Triple. The Ducati was a revelation. A real wolf in sheep's clothing with a power delivery that's hugely more exciting and than the Beemer's. Add to that fantastic handling, even fully laden, great stopping power, two-up comfort and the possiblity of decent fuel consumption and you have what the late, great bike tester Kevin Ash called "almost the perfect bike". And he was talking about the original 2010 model which had a fuelling issues ... the new bikes have improved a lot since then. Enjoy and let us know how you get on please.
