Perceived correctly in my case. I almost got taken out yesterday on the A3; car pulled over to let me pass and then a car with it's hazards still on just pulled off the verge and in front of him. luckily the Multi has a lot of grunt and I could accelerate out of the way. still had time for some well aimed gesticulation to the numpty that pulled out.
I wouldn't say that. They have come along way and are outselling many other manufacturers models. As well as the multistrada I also own a 2015 BMW S1000rs, it's one very very fast bike with some of the best handling I've ever ridden. I do prefer the Multistrada DVT though. It oozes character which is something the S1000rs could only dream off
Everyone to there own I guess but I rated the R1200GS. Deceptively quick and very comfortable. Surprising handling. Strada is much more fun to ride but first impressions to me are that the quality of build and materials used arent as good as beemer.
