Pages Reloading

  1. No idea, but I've found its got worse with the latest Apple iOS update. Or at least that's what I'm putting it down to.

  2. Like I said earlier ET, due to past experience with iOS update I haven't downloaded the latest one, which I think is iOS 8.4
    Which makes me think it's not that, well it can't be that cos I ain't downloaded it :)

  3. Sounds a kop out. Have i just gone back to work and not noticed?!

    It doesnt do it on any other site I visit

  4. I'm not copping out of anything. I just don't know.

    But what I do know is that it's worse for me when I try and use Facebook on safari rather than the Facebook app.

    Ps why so agressive with all your responses?

  6. Not thin skinned at all but you do come across aggressively sometimes.

    Situation is some people are experiencing problems with the site when using Apple products, including me. I find it's worse with Facebook when using Safari. Other websites don't seem to be affected. To me it seems to misbehave when new posts/activity is taken place, hence the reason Facebook and here seem to be affected as they are both fast moving sites. (Just my opinion)

    I said I'd get it looked at. Rob is looking at it.

    Can't say any more than that.

  11. Just been off to test against a few other sites.

    Bbc and most sites seem to work fine. Most forums same. However, when heavy with pictures or videos its the same, part reloads etc. not sure if that is the forum build tool or not, as lots if pics on bbc site and no lag.

    So clearly not unique to here

    ET - sometimes its a factual rather than long winded or overly verbose resonse that seems needed.

    The human mind allows peolpe like me to use small ipad keyboard, on portrait, with fat fingers and be lazy

    Alas it doesnt give us patience when things dont work...

  20. Ok. I wouldn't know as I'm not a computer guru/nerd.

    However I'm sure that those that know will check all avenues to try and establish the cause. :)
