When I first got mine, it felt like I'd never be able to use it, especially as the motor has been uprated to 130bhp at the back wheel by means of straight through exhaust, PC3 etc. However, it's surprising how you do acclimatise. Then I dropped the gearing and it started scaring me again but I've acclimatised to that too now
I ride a ZX10r at the moment and to be honest you just cant use that power anyway, unless you have 3 clear miles in front of you where are you gonna max it? Even at the track I don't use all of the power, its pointless unless you enjoy pissing up walls. So now it is time for something different, I miss using all the power a bike has
749mmm possibly the coolest bike out there. still half contemplating getting shot of the 848 and getting one of them. and a scrambler. how do.
Fingers and toes crossed that it ain't a lemon, you never quite know until you own it do you. FSH and a fresh MOT so confidence inspiring I guess.

The 749s is a superb motorcyle Bluey. Do the bike justice though by having the suspension set up to suit you by someone who knows what they are doing, it will be the best money you will ever spend on the bike. Next mod to consider is a faster action throttle, some people fit the throttle tube from an R1, makes riding the bike much better as you don't have to alter your hand position to increase throttle opening.
