  1. Theres loud and theres LOUD.:)

  2. We have an update, Ive changed the Diavel for a scrambler Icon (standard).Nice and quiet I think.
Today an anonymous letter pushed through the door, saying I should not be using it to go to work, if i continue they , whoever it is, will report me to environmental.
    I give up.

  3. Environmental Health don't do motor vehicles.

  4. Told you it needed a Forum coffee day, oh, hang on, coffee morning, perhaps on a Sunday :Hilarious:

  5. Say yeah whatever worry about it when something legal turns up which I doubt
Someone just hates bikes altogether what sad people there are in this world today

They want to try living next to dogs barking at 5 in the morning for an hour

  7. Seems to me that you just have an arsehole living nearby.

I wouldn't give this a further thought. It's clear that this individual has an axe to grind and there's little that you can do to influence them at this moment in time.

Let them report you to the 'environmental' or whatever. It is clear that they don't have a real case for complaint based on information posted to this thread.

  9. Agree.
If you've swapped the Diavel for a quiet Scrambler, then you are clearly dealing with a fuckwit. Look on the bright side of this: it means that you no longer have to make the slightest effort to be civil or reasonable, so I for one wouldn't bother.
Normal people knock on the door for a word, or at least sign their letters.

  10. If/ when you find this individual they are bound to be quite sad. A possible lesson to us all to show what can result from becoming bitter and twisted.

  12. Had a chat with environmental today , this isn't a problem as far as they are concerned as long as legal pipes are fitted, doesn't matter whether its a bike or car, its just a vehicle. so thats all good.
they also told me to give a copy of the letter to the local police, because of its tone.
    I can't imagine its the end,but we'll see how it goes. :\

  14. Just as an aside, how does coasting a bike, engine off, affect wear & tear? Is the oil circulating freely as it would with the engine on, is regular coasting ever going to harm the engine?

    I'm bi-curious.

  15. Too much information fella :)

  16. If you're sure you're legal on the bike then I wouldn't worry. You can say you're only renting and hope to move soon, but any more complaints and you might stay on a little longer. Takes months for even ligitimate noise complaints to get to court let a lone micky mouse problems like this.
Work shifts myself so had it all in the past and never changed my little start up routine for anyone.
