  3. Ouch. What bike? Get a reg?

    I reported a van escaping at high speed once. Got the full reg and rang the police whilst chasing it in the car. Was told to let them take over the chase and to go home and await an officer. Officers turned up 2 hours later and said "we've just had a quick look round the village and can't see any sign of the van".

  4. Was an FZR special. I didn't bother with the 'police' bit as it was a waste of time even though he managed to get the reg plate. It came back as sorned and culprits unidentifiable as it was pitch dark.
    I think he's going to try and save it and I have donated a 916 seat unit already

  5. Just spent 3 1/2 hours driving to Cambridge candidate back to pick up a bundle of 996 bits off gumtree. I now have everything I need to make it OEM again except for 1 can. I think. Not going to, but nice to have all the bits.

  20. Popped into rite bike in Bradford this aft to have a quick scan at the 1098R they have advertised. Looked mint apart from a small scratch on the tank. Only went as I'd never seen one in the flesh before.
