So many people get their knickers in a twist so easily. Its no wonder Britain seems to have become a haven for miserable feckers!
yes i realise my speedo does get some vibes but not that bad its ok. the annoying thing is the reset of the trip meters.
It would be interesting to hear from other std (non S) DVT owners if they have the same problems as mine has been fine from day one so assumed its just the S thats affected.
I have a standard model and my trip meters work correctly. UK model, set to MPH. I think it's a TFT dash issue.
Not sure if that is the same vibration in the TFT discussed here, but mine does it when I use too high gear at low revs. I've done it few times accidentally but normally I don't as there is no point using 4th or 5th gear at 50mph, this bike is simply not made for this.
Not so. Apparently it is only the S models that are affected, not the non-S which have a different dash.
Mine was in on Thursday - the dealership did say they had an update and it did provide a very temporary fix (temporary in that the trips reset after an unknown period of time) - does yours retain the trip settings after it's been keyed-off for a couple of hours? - mine doesn't.
mine's been fixed this week by software update. Just the fuel tank sender to do and I think the lower rear shock mounting is loose.
It's looking very much like the latest software update works (even if bike not started for longer periods). Trip meters now work. - Ducati.ms - The Ultimate Ducati Forum Had call today from DMC, my big cardboard-wrapped box has arrived :Jawdrop:
Got mine booked in tomorrow at Snells for software and new fuel sensor. Anyone in UK heard of Fuel mapping update ala the US forum in July ?
That sounds good. I need Snells to do exactly the same for me. Please let us know how you get on. How many new fuel sensors do they have in stock now?
