Apologies if this thread has been beaten to death already, but has anyone got a set on theirs? I'm obviously looking at getting some but Everywhere I've seen them they only do the slip ons with a race filter and no "Up Map".... I was under the impression that the keys only come with the exhausts? I'm presuming these ones still need an ECU map or key to unlock the map? or this this a dealer only custom map type job?
Now I could be wrong here but Termignoni is no longer tied to Ducati who have dumped them for Akrapovic. In the past when you bought a set of Termis, Termignoni provided the exhausts and other associated pipe work and bits but the upmap key with the specific engine mapping was provided by Ducati even though it all came in the same box. I would imagine the fact that they are no longer associated is why there is no upmap key included and it will be now down to the purchaser of the exhausts to have the map unlocked by a Ducati dealer, for a 'Ahem!' small fee.
Thanks Big M, yeah I did speak to a dealer briefly when I bought the bike and he said to make sure you get a set with the "Up Map" because they can't supply them (most of the Titanium ones seem to come with them, but the carbon no...) From what I've read on tinterweb I may just go down the "Rapid Bike Evo" kit with the pipes rather than scouring for an unused key or pay out for Ducati to unlock the map..
