Hi all, thought I'd introduce myself as I will soon be joining the Ducati ownership club. Just put a deposit down on a 2009 848 and pick it up in a couple of weeks. My last bike was a 99 Fireblade so a bit different!
Welcome to the forum come to the Ducati Forum bbq at mine, more than welcome......have a look at the Rideouts and Events thread
Hi and welcome from one of the forum normals :Angelic: mind the window likers, there's a few about :Wideyed:
Hello and welcome. I bought my 848 after owning a 98 blade. Might take a bit of getting used to but well worth it!
Thanks for the warm welcome and an invite to a bbq! Much appreciated. Ive been riding for around 14 years and always had inline jap bikes so really fancied a change. Always fancied a Ducati after trying the 1098 when it was launched. I think you're right bettes, will take a lot of getting used to but think it will be worth it.
As you'll probably know from reading up, getting the suspension set up for you is key on these bikes. If it's not right for you, you'll hate it. Then a decent seat and maybe a 14T front sprocket and you're good to go. Ian
Thanks for the advice. I'll have a look to see if there is anyone here in North Wales that can help out with the suspension set up.
