1200 DVT Central Europe Must Do......

  1. I'm off to the french alps in october to have a look at property i was going to fly but i'm thinking of taking the bike instead was looking for some advice/must ride roads.

  2. Try all the roads that connect the properties you are going to be looking at :D
    A mate at work is doing the same but on his push bike - hoping to semi retire and let rooms to other push fish users...

  4. Would the Route des Grandes Alpes not be shutting down in October ?

  6. I think some of the Alps routes start closing around October time dependent on the weather.

    This lists some of them.

  8. Central Europe usually means the Austria, Hungary and Czech region. The French Alps are in Western Europe, surely.

  9. I'd prefer to read about your house hunting in france,....by a river with space for a nutter in a lorry/conversion project. Who's wanting to learn french!

  11. + 1 for the Gorges du Verdon, also Route Napoleon both of which have spectacular roads and scenery.

  12. The Black Forest region serves up some pretty awesome roads - went for the first time recently and was really impressed.
