  1. So the question is, for my pension fund do I buy the last twin or the first V4?

  2. Oh come on now V4 rumours have been going since the 999 was the current superbike. Yawn

I'll show my arse on the town hall steps if the next superbike is a V4

  6. How many warranty problems do you want them to fix?

  7. Yep, these rumours have indeed been bubbling around since the 999, I remember them saying 'The end is nigh, we have gone as far as we can with 1000cc Twin'.... Tht's before they bought dinner for the boss of WSBK ;-)

  8. I'd be dissapointed if wesacrificed the supermodel thinness of the Panigale for a chubby V4. The RSV4 feels nice but it's very much like the jap inline 4's in that you just slot into it. It took a bit of getting used to all the space on the Panigale but I really like it now.

  9. Drop 'em then cos I just put a deposit on a V4 superbike for 2017 delivery :p:Nailbiting::Nailbiting:

  10. Let`s not forget that Ducati have already produced a V4 for the road. Personally I ride them for two reasons. Style-a combination of looks and, (less definably,) class, but also the v twin engine. The Noise, feel and power delivery cannot be replicated, IMO by a 4cyl. Is not a major part of their marketing strategy to play on those kind of strengths and distance themselves from the Japanese hoard?
