  1. Mmmmmmmmmm, wine bottle like wrists, very very strange :Wideyed::Watching::Snaphappy:

  2. What sort of frikkin wine do you think that is then?

  3. When they first came out I nearly bought a Bremont EP120, but couldn't quite convince myself of the price at the time.

  4. I switch between a Speedmaster Pro, Tudor Pelagos and Sinn 856. Also have a smattering of Seiko divers and GShocks.

The well made one is the Sinn. Had it 5 years, used it in all conditions and it is completely unmarked. If you want something hard-wearing, forget the Swiss stuff, get a Sinn or Damasko.

  6. My most precious possession (more than any of my bikes!) is a Rolex Sea Dweller that my Mrs bought me as an engagement present some 16 years ago.

It gets worn every day and I have taken it diving many hundreds of times down as far down as 85m ... and in a decompression chamber once or twice when I got the bends!

I've had it serviced a few times and repaired once when I banged it on a lamppost and pinged the bezel off but it has always told the time accurately enough :)

  7. I like omega's tbh I think some are better then rolex's especially for keeping the time, the speedmaster is a great watch, they make good buys, nice quality and the ltd editions will make good returns, i collect these, at the time relatively cheap buys and I have the majority of them. Better return then money in the bank .

  8. His would've been an original Heuer. Not a modern, cheaper version.

  10. Correct. But Breguet was all but wiped out over two world wars with only the brand name surviving. A Modern Breguet ain't what it used to be.

  11. image.jpg These are my two beauties. A Rolex Sea Dweller I bought in 94, you've no idea what adventures I've come through with this. Amazing watch that I'll pass on when I cark it. And my Panerai 233 I bought recently whilst in San Diego. It's an 8 day wind up jobbie and is impressively accurate. It also has a gorgeous looking movement through a see through sapphire crystal back. I love it.

  14. Ha, yeah. . . After flogging my car! Only kidding, but it's an expensive interest. A bit like trackdays! Life ain't a rehearsal :)

  16. Massive advertising and marketing budget with a shite movement apparently. They do look quite cool though.
