Not really the same thing though, Carla and Kate? Carla has in the past sought fame or notoriety by the use of her body, or at least images of it. Kate may conceivably be a fame-lusting golddigger, but she does not employ the same means. Carla created her own sensation in the media by her own efforts long before she married Sarkozy whereas "The Press" is manufacturing a new sensation entirely against Kate's wishes. I'm not saying that the papers were right to post the trash they do - titillation-based stories - in respect of Carla (or anyone else) but comparing her and Kate isn't exactly correct. Is it?
Have to say I still think she was a bit mental to do what she did as was in view of a public road ..... yes only with a tele lens but if your going to do stuff like that your going to get caught . There really is no such thing as privacy out n the open if your famous. Now days any photo can be around the world in seconds with the net.... and no doubt was! The fuss about the mags printing it still days later ... old hat now. The more attention the palace bring to it the more people want to look and print. Best to keep it low key... That or do the opposite and have "The Sunday sport Queen and future queen and topless corgi's special"
The newsnight interview with the Swedish editor was funny. Paxman was on fire last night - totally roasted Vince Cable until he was visibly squirming. Then pointed out to the Swedish bag that she had no respect for the royal couple and didn't give a tinker's cuss about their privacy and wishes, that she routinely invaded people's privacy and wouldn't like it if her tits were splashed across European magazines. Mind you, looking at her, I wouldn't like it if her tits were splashed across European magazines.
Actually, that is a sound basis for celebrity photos taken without permission. In order for the photos to be published, the publisher must also show, side by side, equivalent photos of the editorial staff and the persons obtaining the illicit photos. Yep, that would work
If she doesn't chuck up every five minutes and fling herself down staircases like Wills' mum, I reckon the rest of the family would consider her a bit of a success...
