I'm sat here at home watching some guys (SKY BT Sport) on Ducati's blasting around Silverstone...Memories of the last Ducati Track day a few weeks ago.....
I was there a week last Monday laying rubber for them so I'm sure the lap record will go this weekend - happy to help, although my rubber was totally off line and from too late braking
Ian and Dovi 4th & 5th fastest....Looking forward to FP2! Yes was it parked at the rear of signing on?
You do ride then Still a real lack of footage on youtube. Keep looking for the fella I was following, one handed, knee down and waving
:Mooning: is that all you saw of me? And why didn't you wave back? What were you doing in the novice group My first track day, dug the zip on leather jeans out and had to have a pit crew to zip me in each session  They were that tight the only thing my knee could touch was the tank but surprised a couple of guys at the hairpin both knee down, when I took them on the inside with mine still touching the tank It was well hectic and not smooth, too many people breaking 100m too early :Wideyed:
It was fab, you could be my mentor The only down side was the travelling before and after with a 4am start. The guys I went with do a lot of European circuits so that would be a good adventure - they ship the bikes for free too . They do Brno every year which is 40 mins from where my daughter lives so that has to be on the cards. Would love to get my Endurance rep Kawasaki finished and on track though.
Yeh, always liked the look of it on TV but having been close many times I've never been wife's cousin is mates with the daughter of the owner too.
I agree, uk days are great and the circuits are good but you always seem to be at the mercy of the weather..........European day are the way to go, i'm lucky enough to be close to some great circuits, the standard is always pretty good and you don't have to take a spare set of wheels with wets.....
