  6. Wasn't sure. Met a 749 owner there. She owns the Wallace Tea Room in Lanark. Also a biker with her partner Stuart.

    We should try and get a wee run out with Stooby and go and see Finn!

  8. A rusty fence post is more comfortable than an 06 ZX10! And better looking.

    I'll never get jumping off an RC8R back onto my zx10R. It felt like a minimoto. Quite bizarre and quite horrible.

    Mileage and biking will improve with almost any swap. An 06 zx10r is pretty uncompromising in lots of ways.

  9. 1976dc, yes I've come to the conclusion the zx-10 wasn't designed for the human shape....
    Btw I've not long moved out to just outside Carnwath. I had no idea South Lanarkshire was such a ducati hot spot.

  10. You'll see me go by. I regularly pass through Carnwath. That's my favoured short run (and part of my long run, come to think of it).

    I regularly pass a white 899 and another chap on a Multistrada.
    No idea who however.
