1200 DVT Multistrada App: Dukebox Dury

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by bradders, Aug 23, 2015.

  1. Having fun with the app....although not sure that its a good idea setting a PB and then trying to beat it! Quick ride this morning and I managed 45degrees and 151bhp. I read that he max lean angle is 47degrees, so need to put in a bit more effort ;) Off to the Black Forest next month, so will see what we can do!

  2. Impressive stuff! Couldn't get mine working today so had to delete off bike and reconnect again, then app said it was connected.

  3. I found when there was an update it made 2 connections profiles in the Phone Blue tooth, I deleted one and then mine connected again

  4. Turned on location services for a ride today and it worked fine, except that the app got km and miles mixed up - all stats appeared to be reported okay except the journey distance, which it reported as 'x miles' but was actually showing the distance covered in km (the app is set up for UK units of measurement).
I have sent feedback on this bug.

I know it's not a good idea to get into comparisons (or competition) but the 'top performance' I've had out of the bike, so far, is 34 degrees and 146hp (2nd gear at 9,572rpm and 76mph) - I won't tell you what my top speed has been ;)

  5. Will stick mine on for the ride to Silverstone tomorrow if its dry. Still on roads I don't know, need to back to old stomping ground to compete ;)

I reported the same bug and they said a fix is due

  6. 131hp

    40 deg *8 mph 5th

    Dampish roads

    Must try harder!!

60 miles in 1'03 cross country

  9. Didnt bother on way back. proper wet mostly. Still back in an hour and 15 tho ;)

These scorpions seem ok in the wet :upyeah:

  10. Fun over for the time being. The app crashed whilst saving my last ride and although I can use the app not connected to the bike, when I link it, the last ride comes up (paused) and when I try and save it, it crashes again. I've e-mailed Ducati, will wait to see what they come up with.

  11. Mine did same. Delete app, download, log in and all your data is still there and, for me, it had the trip still there and saved it this time

  12. Mine is crashing while saving last ride, since the last update

  13. Tried that when I installed the latest update, but no joy. Hopefully will hear from the ducati boffins soon!

  14. Just in case it might influence your decision to upgrade your iPhone to iOS9, you should be aware that the Multistrada app will not work if you do - this has been reported to Ducati (and you won't, for now at least, be able to even open the app to review data from past rides) :(

  15. I can't help noticing various people in this thread reporting 136 bhp, 145 bhp and so on - figures for power outputs. So how on earth can this piece of software determine what the power output might be at any given moment?

If it really can, and is accurate, then all those expensive rolling road dynamometers can be scrapped. Alternatively, if it can't then the alleged figures are hogwash.

    Anyone care to comment?

  16. Isn't Ducati part of the Audi-Volkswagen group?

  17. Using the app in iOS 9. Still a bit crashy but it works ok most of the time.

  18. Very odd - the response I got from Ducati was "At this time Multistrada Link is not available with iOS9".

  19. It will be an algorithm. It's always an algorithm

  20. The App was written by the Volkswagen side of VAG for Audi :)
