  1. howdy all,
Ive had my 750 ss (2002 ie) for a few months now and love it, its a rough owl bird, but a terrific ride. I have one little foible with her...........if say Im parking, and need to lock steering hard left, it revs like a mofo!! presume its choke cable stretching/pilling as throttle doesnt move.....any ideas??
choke works perfectly btw, and im not at all meachanically minded so ................be gentle

  2. Take it off from the bar lever and re-route the cable so that it is not being trapped by the other cables and wires around the headstock.

  3. cool.....i do hope its that simple

  4. I have a 1999 model. If its the same its easier to disconnect the cable at the carb end.
Re route the cable with the steering in locked position making sure its loose in this position.
    What is a 'mofo'?

  5. You mean the fast idle, no choke on fuel injection

  6. mofo
Short for mother fucker. A person who thinks they are the shit, dressed down with sagging pants, a high need for a belt, too much gold to make the national reserve jealous, and an attitude that stems from not having parents who knew how to refrain from the use of crack cocaine.
"Hey Dave, look at that putz...man what a mofo."

  7. OK. I obviously need to get out more.

  8. Or Google more, I didn't have a clue either ;)

  9. hope you fixed it ok Ruadan

  10. Choke, fast idle......what is the purpose of fast idle and choke if they are not to help with cold starting. Can we not call fast idle a choke and vice versa?

  11. Probably
