Picked up the standard 'stuff' for the panigale from the dealer, turns out the standard exhaust is quite heavy!!! 7.5KG!
Today I happened to be riding down Abbey Road so I took a photo of the famous zebra crossing: Lots of Japanese tourists there, including some women who all looked like Yoko Ono.
I met my mate in the pub today, and as we were catching up on news, I told him "I bought my wife a gold bracelet last month and she hasn't talked to me since." "Why not?" "That was part of the deal "
Last night was Nancy, today played around on the Vosges, tonight Rothenburg, beautiful place. Tomorrow onto Regensburg for a couple of nights then back to Black Forest for five days. A three hour ride took over six. Road works everywhere, felt like home!
washed the 848 for the first maybe second time this year, pissed about on the wee mans quad. when for a late evening run down too kilmelford and back. all in all not a bad weekend. about 500mls mostly in the sun.
very nice, my brother is off to the Black Forest tomorrow at 0500, unfortunately i couldn't go with him this time.
This morning I took the scrambler out and took in some proper knackered roads up and down the Colne valley. Weather was lovely and it was really warm in the sunshine Met SWMBO for a latte early afternoon then came home and had a snooze for an hour before we had to go to another BBQ Just got back......I'm sober cos I was driving. SWMBO is la la'd.
Well today I have some sad news I have sold millie monster to a lovely lady who I can see will enjoy her I have been toying with selling for a while it's a shame to just keep the bike underwraps and wasting away:Bag: I am not giving up, just waiting a while because I would really really like a scrambler in the future That's it then Ducati less :Bawling:
Not finished with mine just yet There are a few already up for sale with bugger all mileage and huge savings to be had. Get your hand in your pocket lady
Had a day out house hunting in France and stopped by Oradour sur Glane. Very humbling... Waffen SS killed 642 civilians on 10 June 1944 for no real reason and burned the whole village down. 399 women and children burned or shot while locked up in a church! Quite sad really along with most of the men slaughtered. Only 1 woman and 5 blokes survived! Amazing place to visit as they have left the village in the same state as it was in 1944.
Met my sign writer today to do my 2 new tippers. That makes 6 now so I washed all of them for a mini photo shoot. Went to the local pub for a carvery at lunchtime, sat outside and saw a couple of mates ride by. I have bike withdrawal symptoms ! Speed triple will be out tomorrow at some point ! Maybe the Multi as well. Not done any where near enough miles this year......
