Are the winglets on the Yamaha legal? I remember on the Ducati when they first had them people questioned if they were legal because items fitted on the fairings of the bike cannot exceed the width of the bike or preture, that why they added those extended bits onto the front/side of the fairing. The yam don't have that?
That and cornering stability. Idea being that a bike that wants to wheelie less will require less engine cutting (wheelie control) and will therefore drive harder.
The yams aren't very big. Not sure they exceed the tips of the bar ends. Ducati's however are huge. They certainly exceed bike width. Maybe the rule has been dropped?
It was the Navarro one that looked nasty. He lost the rear, another rider had nowhere else to go other than his upper body. Always a bad one. Queue the medics holding up sheets whilst they worked on him trackside. Good to hear not even a broken bone and he's unscathed.

There were four blokes blocking the entrance as we got on this was at the terminus. I pushed 2 of them out the way it didn't seem out the ordinary at the time. But then they all got off and disappeared. Bugger me half an hour later I had a Romanian gypsey grab me try to get my watch and then tried to grab my neck chain. I resorted to a forearm smash on the nose. This was directly outside a police station
