Scottish 500

Discussion in 'Touring' started by finm, Sep 7, 2015.

  1. Lots, the the Wild Atlantic Way is 1500 miles of beautiful but winding roads. Whereas the Scottish 500 has mostly, but by no means all, quite fast roads.

    Three weeks to enjoy.
    Two weeks to endure.
    One week of hell.

  7. Looking good Finm, I might be up for up. But I'd only be meeting you guys an hour later due to my slow and Very bad riding. If going I've got some GoPros (or a stills camera) I could take, be fun to record bits of it too.

A lot of it will be weather dependent.

See its taking in the "Destitution Road" (A832) some absolutely stunning views to be had, was hoping to do the A832 this year but the weather and family commitments put the mockers on it. If God spares me next year would be great.
