Hi All, Thought it was time to say hello and get some advise at the same time, purchased a Multi recently and love it but also own a standard 2009 Hypermotard and would like to replace the standard seat for a more comfortable seat with a better riding position (not sat on the tank). Any recommendations of companies they have used for custom/re-shaped seats would appreciated. Cheers
Welcome , Corbin are the usual first stop but if you get a spare seat base , lots of upholsters would prob make you a seat to your requirements won't be cheap thou !!

Hi Smithy and welcome to the forum ,I had a lower gel seat from Ducati for my HM which was only about £85.Perhaps they don't do them anymore?? I've still got my standard seat off my 796,weren't they the same? You can buy mine off me if you want to experiment.
I used these guys to get my Elefant's seat reshaped (wider and flatter) and re-covered (with stitched panels), only cost £40 (about four years ago). Really happy with the quality of the work and materials, and it made a huge difference to the comfort. G.A. Give 'em a ring and see what they can do.
Thanks for the replies, im going to call at seat works in Bradford (nearest to me) with the standard seat and see what they can do, they have come recommended by Ducati Leeds. I will let you know to end result Cheers Smithy

A colleague of mine has started a motor cycle seat custom business. His wife is a seamstress and she does all the leather material work he does the foam side He does it all on Facebook at the moment I will give you the contact details if you have no luck in Bradford.
