  2. Thanks, but i don't really want it getting "a women's touch" (calm down @exiege @finm et al, you know what i mean!). I also don't want soft furnishing or ambient lighting.

  3. :Angelic:. looking good mate. enjoying this thread. :smile:

  4. Lol well keep your condensation then
    I would put warmth over furnishings any day
    It would keep your bike warm too :)

  5. I really believe that condescension has no place in this thread.

    Now, be good little boys and girls, and discuss.

  11. On grand designs don't they stuff newspaper between the gaps before the plasterboard goes on
    I think I saw one that used straw bales inside as well
    Wonder how cheap they would be probably some lying around in the fields at the moment ;)

  12. Yeah, great point. And as hay is just dry grass why don't I just stuff it with all my old grass cutting. Genius.

  13. You can buy insulation that is recycled paper mulch. Apparently quite good.

  14. Incredibly heavy too...

  15. IMO, it will be pointless insulating the shed if you can't keep the external moisture from penetrating the boarding..........ie fit a moisture barrier.

  16. Insulating & flooring my garage as we speak. 50mm foil backed big sheets then 9mm OSB board (all 8*4ft) on top then a roll of grey oil resistant check plate pattern viynl (big green tube in pic) to go on over all that. Sweet :D

  17. Bet yours hasn't taken as long as the other shed episode has
    ;) :Angelic::Brb:

  18. Episode? More of a saga. I feel I'm ready for Saga now anyway.

  19. Will it take the weight? I thought you were supposed to build a wooden lattice on the floor and put the kingspan (other makes are available) in the gaps.

  20. Insulation is compression resistant. A heel point impact will put a dent in it but the OSB spreads the load. Took me half a day to put floor down, now just putting vinyl roll down and then the toys go in!!!
