Yes, I've seen them recently for £15K ish with similar mileage - how's that. Patience is a virtue but if you are willing to pay that then maybe they are worth that now - keep pushing the values :Wideyed:
I went to see that bike a month or so ago. Looks in decent condition... Until you see the nasty scratch on the tank. It is cheap enough though. For the difference in price, would be worth buying it and getting it all re painted.
The rest of the bike seamed ok TBH. It's just that when you see a bike like that, so cheap, but with an inch long scratch on top of the tank... Just makes you wonder why and how. The weird thing is that the scratch is quite deep, could have been done with a key or something like that.
I really think the TB is overpriced for offering only a paintjob over the classic Ducati red/white 1098R.
I disagree, you are not a dick, you asked a perfectly valid question and I enjoyed the byplay. I still think it's probably the best bike Ducati made for the real world and clearly so do others. And he doesn't need a reason, just because . Andy
Andy, the bloke hasn't answered so there is no point in everyone saying they are the best bikes ever and others want them, of course they do. Anyway, I'm not talking to you anymore
