  4. I vote for porkers having a mandatory outdoor existence. The trend is for them to have no outdoor existence. This should be illegal.

  5. I agree there! We are lucky that there seems to be more farmers with pigs outside around here than we've seen for a long time. Long may it continue!

  6. If you ride north of Bologna on the motorway you go through Parma, the district where the famous ham comes from.

    You can smell you are there, but you won't see a single pig.

    Similar situation here in Switzerland, sadly. Never seen a pig outside, although there a small pig farms all over the place.

    Don't I remember from geography that you can raise pigs on a by-product from dairy production? Whatever. You still shouldn't be allowed to keep them exclusively indoors.

  7. Wholeheartedly agree. And so did several of the pampered piglets being exhibited who decided spending the morning in a show marquee was rather boring. Multiple bid for freedom and much chasing around. :smile:

  10. Go to Snetterton circuit and you will both smell and see lots of pigs. If the wind is coming from the East they are unmistakable, not to say unbearable.

  11. Hobbled around the woods with my 2 dogs for an hour - beautiful day down here in Devon (sounds like heaven.........cos it is!).
    Then put some details together regarding my broken rear subframe which I've sent off to Riders in Bridgewater, and hoping for some kind of assistance with replacing said item.........

  13. Had physio this morning working on my neck again as this goes hand in hand with a shoulder injury
    Just in from my MRI where I nearly had a panic attack going into the machine.
    Last time my head was outside this time it was in the middle!!! :-/
    Now hopefully I can find out if I have rota cuff damage
