    PS: Looking damn good!

  6. Some more mods going on over the festive period, mostly to correct a few issues with the paintwork that I was not entirely happy with and a new rear sprocket and carrier after the bike ate my Renthal rear alloy sprocket, as well as some mods to the side stand to take out any play at the pivot point and beef up the soft aluminium base plate. I had a new rear pivot bolt made up and the front one sleeved and turned down to match the diameter of the rear, then the carbon pivot point holes reamed to match. All with a tolerance of less than 5 thou. Now there is no lateral or axial play, as before. Side stand plate was made out of 3mm stainless, and bonded to the existing Swiss cheese original version. Also re-coated the attachment bracket, with bare aluminium at the contact points and film on the corresponding contact area of the carbon stand to protect the lacquer. Went with a Supersprox ally/steel sprocket and CNC carrier. Lightweight but more longevity.
