    Technology marches on otherwise we'd all keep our old bikes and never upgrade to the latest model.

    Got to feel sorry for anyone that's bought an 899 new in the last 3 months though...

  16. Exactly re the new owners....

    At least with things like the 899 when it replaced the 848 we pretty much knew months and months before. I bought mine in the July with 97% certainty there was the 899 coming....
