I don't think it's with the Nottinghamshire Constabulary. The mounted section has been disbanded during the last 2 years as part of funding cuts, even though it brought income to the county force by hiring out the officers & horses to other constabularies. There haven't been any sightings of any of the horses subsequently being ridden by a pig-fancier & a foul-mouthed ginger journalist! Oh, the county's off-road motorcycle section was also disbanded/sold-off as part of another attempt to cut expenditure. Replaced by PCSOs on push bikes, but 70 of those have just been cut...
We have similar here in Oz. They stand out like dogs balls. If you get caught by one of these, man, you weren't paying attention.
