pretty much summed it up... it ain't over yet....its nice to have a season with this many great riders go down to the wire. it will be decided at Valencia i think
I wonder if Loz wasn't managing his race. He might have chanced his arm if the other two were catching him, but they weren't, so there was no point increasing risk. He is a savvy operator. As for MM's front end failures, he is surely pushing the front over the limit. This is more due to his exuberance than any problems the bike has. He makes up a whole heap on the brakes from the straights and surely the reason he can do this is that he is closer to the wire. Now and again, he's going to pay a price for that.
i dont think loz was holding back at all as he said himself in the post race interview that he had the most fantastic bestest race ever, his skills where second to none and he is the special one but when he saw his pit board and tried to push on the gap wasnt getting bigger so perhaps the other guys had some small degree of skill too... (well thats what i saw)
Would love to see VR46 win one more world title and yes he has stepped up to the mark this year and its made for a fantastic season of racing,if he wins the world championship it will be through consistency and a little luck, lucky because MM is clearly on a bike that is not a good as the Yam and because JLo had a shit start to the season because of tyre issues and lost a lot of points because of it.Its strange how the best 3 riders in the world ride a bike in very different ways and yet all can win races,if the each produced a twist of the wrist style dvd which one would sell most ?
Gixer riders would buy the MM one, they all think they are badking it in ridng gods anyway Everyone else would be Rossi. Jlo, well, he couldn't sell an X Factor Xmas song
i know the relevance but i dont think any rider is a known quantity, for the record i had the same predictions as you for a dry race but who was to know mm would stack it? though it is an even money bet this year as he will bin or win. he aint happy with anything less than a win or a crash! you dodged my quip about the rugby... whats ya thoughts? i hate to say it but you lot look nearly as good as the all blacks!
All riders are a known quantity. Teams an machines aren't. All rider are a known quantity. Teams and machines not so. "Armchair pundit". Aren't we all? Sorry if I have have an opinion FE.
Their(Honda's) problem is apparently a internal balance issue that they originally rode around not knowing the cause initially.Because the engines are sealed, they cannot fix until the end of the season. As they tried to go faster they discovered the problem was internal and have just had to live with the problem as best they can. With electronics they mask one problem that causes another in the front end handling/power delivery area. Much like Ducati's problem as you say, thus the revised new engine this year. Craig
They all have imperfections tho. What makes Rossi so great, and stoner in the same bracket, is they find the absolute limit where it just stops working then stay there time after time Marquez seems less able
