2016 Bsb ... No Croft Again !

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Wassy, Oct 2, 2015.

  1. The neighbours are killing the circuit, simple as that

  2. Be very interested to see how next year goes..

Tommy Hill now has a factory backed Yamaha team (going to be like the R1 cup lol)

Be interested to see where Hopkins ends up, he could do well on the Duc if they can sort out the reliability.

  3. I would have thought the BTCC attracted a bigger crowd and there are several other big meetings throughout the year so can't see the problem.

  4. Yes, exactly, it's about how many big meetings they are allowed per year. Btcc attracts bigger crowds so gets the slot. Is also potentially less noisy. Thruxton is also VERY limited in how many meets it gets

  5. Things like that really boil my piss!

Move next door to a race track that's been their for an eternity and then complains.

No idea why these mongs are entertained!

I'd love to be put in that situation personally.....

My response would be simple! "oh right, well as it goes we are currently looking at the option of turning the site in to a social housing development, but to fit in with todays society we believe it should have a sizeable mosque in the middle"

I imagine the issue of noise would go away fairly quick?

  6. Spoke to the woman who lives in the bungalow next to the bridge on the way in a couple of years ago. She whined on about the noise, traffic etc. couldn't hear her over the sound of her dogs barking. Turns out she had a kennel business. Fkin hypocrite.

  7. Before it was a race circuit it was an airfield . Wonder if they thought that was any quieter . What I was told was that a few years ago the then new owner employed a manager who bought a house from him on the drive up to croft . Wifey later divorced manager and she got the house . Also married the lawyer who managed the divorce who then made it his buiseness to get the noisey bikes stopped . Could be a vicious rumour though.

  8. it is not owned by MSV so why should they run the MSV superbike cup there?

  9. Is Knockhill or Assen.
Why call it the British championship not the MSV championship.

  10. Or even silverstone the opening round.
