  1. I hope these are not the same guys who tweaked the Jetta and Audi A3 emission readings to appear lower than the actual ones. :Bag:

  2. Update day today

    Check out testflight

  3. Does this app exist any longer? I just see a news app :(

  4. I hope it is the same guys, as these chaps appear to have made their tweak work :)

  5. Happy days, the new release works with ios9 so I am looking forward to getting my ride logged tomorrow.... I am such a geek

  6. I must remember to switch it on, I must remember to switch it on, I must remember to switch it on,I must remember to switch it on,I must remember to switch it on

  7. Where do you get this app from?
Using iPhone 5s IOS9, I just have Multistrada news (which hasn't changed news for months!)

  8. Does anyone know if it works on android please.

  9. Ducati has updated the app to support iOS9, and it's working perfectly. Really great add-on to the bike when you can see exactly what you're doing when riding.
Had a quick start today morning with a 2014 Multistrada from traffic lights. After I checked the app I knew why he never had a chance as my 2nd gear pushed 153hp.
Jokes aside I have no idea why those dynos would record less hp than the bike does. There is a certain way to drive each bike and reach its max horsepower. But there is no test that would convince me that this bke can do less.
Good that there is an app which allows you to figure that out yourself instead if having to rely on questionable dyno tests like the one from motorcycle.com.

  10. But what would make you think that the app is any more accurate than a dyno? It's a ducati app using rpm, speed, throttle position etc and working out a theoretical power value. It's not measuring power at all. It might tell you that you are using 160bhp but how on earth should that be any closer to the truth than a dyno that is designed to actually measure torque/power.
From what I can tell from magazine tests both the XR and DVT are advertised as 160bhp but back to back one bike makes more on the dyno. How does that fit in with what the app is telling you?
By the way, like zero to sixty times I'm not always that sure full throttle runs on a dyno tell you much. Was it Ride mag a few years ago showed how much Kawasaki had improved the ZZR1400 one year by doing 40% throttle runs? The full throttle max power was the same but the updated bike had very different curves and less throttle and was a much faster and easier bike to ride from what I remember.

  11. The app records exactly what you see on the screen; from gps I know that I m going 4kph less from what the speedometer says.

  12. Yes it shows what the bike is already measuring eg. Speed but the power value must be an estimate at best. I'd certainly trust a value from a dyno before I ever believed the app on a power figure.
Oh and all speedos over read by some amount. They have to to make sure they never under read.

  13. I love this app! First use today and I am hooked however I can see the downside in trying to set a best lean angle, if Marques can get to 68 degrees then so can I (on my way to 90 degrees!)

  14. What's the App called? Can you get it from the App Store? I guess this isn't the Multistrada News App. Cheers.

  15. C'mon someone, tell use what the name of this app is called and where you're getting it from:Banghead:

  16. Just done some digging around. Seems the App is or was called the Multistrada Link App. I think it may have been pulled.

  17. It was a beta test, well still a beta test, and you have to email to get the link from test flight, not sure if you can still go on beta test. I cannot remember the email either, maybe it is back in the thread somewhere

  18. You have to email them and they send you a lonk, its a beta test product not yet released. Do a search for something like 'beta multistrada app' and yiu shiuod be able to find the email.

  19. The latest version is 1.1.7 and in the email I got from Ducati says that it's the last beta version before going live on the App Store. So hopefully it will be available to everyone soon.
