Right,

lets get this off my chest. Some of you know me very well, some in passing, some I have had a pint with and a fair few of you I have shared a paddock and a track with.

Occasionally I am abrupt, downright rude, challenging, gobby and even caustic. These are all parts of my personality. To balance things out there are fun, giggly, encouraging, informative, shy,knowledgeable and happy go lucky aspects too. I suspect this is true of all people. I have made lifelong friends in the biking community and respect them all for the characters they are.

My first foray into forums was many many years ago on Thumpertalk (single cylinder bike stuff, not belting people :Angelic. Since then I have found them to be of great benefit in many ways. Some forums cross social boundaries, giving people with very differing views but a common interest a shared space in which to meet.

I like a bit of anarchy, and I do try to temper my digits but sometimes I fail miserably. On those occasions I look back and think to myself "Could do better, uncalled shit for brains" or some such disparaging thought about my lack of decorum.

So to clear the air with a few parties, I apologise for comments which have been near and beyond the knuckle at times.Nothing is personal, I have not truck with anybody - comments have been made to the ethereal electronic character on t'screen. I ask myself will these lapses of decorum occur again, and being honest they might well rear their non too pleasant head again. But never in a manner which is directed to the flesh and blood real person.
