Bizarre thread this People can be offensive and abusive without swearing at people They can be objectionable, rude, not listen to other peoples views and generally behave like an arse The funny thing is, they cant see it for themselves and carry on regardless - but does it really matter? Its not that important really Website forums are always cliquey - its the nature of the beast - clear out one clique and another one will begin You either decide to join in or not There are plenty of lurkers on every forum who just don't want to join in and that's fine surely. Just as fine as contributing and accepting there will be flak now and again Every forum I have ever visited has been the same - a mix of really decent info and utter bs - but that's life in general isn't it? You have to engage the bs filter at all times The weird thing about forums though is people do get terribly handbags at dawn much more than they would in person - I think its because people post at odd times or when they are perhaps not usually in the mood to socialise. Also - there are no social nuances to pick up on so people read straight text that can come across harsh - even if followed by a But really - its just a forum - its not real life. Nobody gets hurt physically and if you take a step back then really it shouldn't be taken THAT seriously I haven't met many of you The ones I have met seem alright - don't know any well enough to say more than that Congrats to Cranker - bike looks great and clearly a labour of love No idea what he did to who with what and when but I do believe in 'live and let live' If anyone is off to Almeria in Nov with FE I will happily share a beer (or a few) - but please bring a working BS filter lol
i think i agree... errrr... yep.... wot u said init.... on the side, why are we making rugby look like such hard work?
Buck Shelford, the legendary All Black captain, got kicked in the balls so hard by a French player that his ballsack split open and one ball came out, went off the field and had his sack stitched up then came back on and played the rest of the game, now that's a tough bastard.
Not quite, no. Mr R once threatened to punch somebody else. But shortly afterwards he apologised for his outburst and promised not to do it again. This is fair enough, surely?
