848 Problems

  1. has any one experience running problems I have an 848 with slash cut thermis and filter but standard ecu. It ran fine but now it struggles to start and once it does drops and pics up a cylinder on tick over agh any ideas
     
  2. Start with the free checks first. Swap the stick coils over and see if the dropped cylinder changes. If it does then coil is faulty. If it doesn't then check the wiring to the dropped cylinder coil for damage. For £1.99 change the coil/injector/pump relay on the side of the battery box. It is the rear of the two relays. If you are running the stock mapping then the bike will be running lean. Stick some new plugs in. If still on one then the coil driver may have gone in the ECU. Avanti Racing may be able to get it repaired for you, but cheaper is a second hand ECU. While you are at it get the ECU flashed to the DP mapping for the cans.

  3. Going to chuck two plugs in first what does anyone recommend I had a problem with my 749 a while ago and it was the front pot that had collected water in the rain but this 848 has never seen rain
     
  4. Owww took plugs out and top one soaked with in burnt fuel
