You could try the economic argument; new, smaller bike will be more economical to run and keep the mileage down on your 'future classic'. Two bike insurance isn't much more expensive than one bike (can't ride two at the same time)... I'll not be selling my 14yr old Harley Road-King but now I've got an 1100evo 'future classic', I don't want to part with that either and no room for 3 bikes....argh!
