Ive never understood pensions....I did collect everything pension related and stick it in a filing cabinet....ive had a pension in some shape way or form since I was 17 (46 now) - a bloke came from Barclays (our bank) as we had a premier account so they assigned us a pensions adviser...he turned up and I showed him an 18" thick pile of paper to which he replied "2 sugars please" - and was at our house til past midnight....his initial visit slimmed it down to about 3" of paper. Then, not long after that he called me to tell me Barclays had made him rendundant and he was going it alone. He's the only person that showed up a second time so we've stuck with him....I have a little bit more of a clue to what he does but essentially when a came a few years ago got it all in order moved my 5 pensions into one. He did ask me at the time "how many pensions do you think you have..." I thought 3.... Anyway essentially we pay him a few hundred quid to move it around to where he thinks it would make the most...the first year he did it, it made an extra 10k or something like that....so, ever year he will say, leave it where it is, or move it....that's about it really.... And no I still don't understand them....
I am told the pension I have is the best around. But we keep having to put more in to make up the shortfall.
There's a gang going through our town, systematically shoplifting clothes in size order. The police believe they're still at large.
Fixed the break in my oil drainage bucket with QBond, good stuff that . Drilled out broken socket adapter from new allen socket. Emptied the coolant from SRAD, didn't get all of it over the floor.
