My driving instructor took me out in the snow. We found a quiet bit of car park and practiced recovering spins/slides. Many years later my wife and I lost it on some ice and I recovered it immediately (more instinct than judgment I think). It scared her and she kept saying she was so glad I was driving as she wouldn't have known what to do. Next time we have snow, I'm taking her to a car park.
Hence the "if I understand correctly" but I have assumed the car would have been travelling in the (his) left hand lane, actual outside lane, as the "normal thing to do" in the UK. To hit head on, that would put the van in the outside lane. Even if it put them both in the middle lane, that is still not the lane to drive in on an empty motorway and that is not a statement to start vilifyng middle lane hoggers - pleeeeeease don't go there. Andy
We've all done it I know but we are constantly reminded not to drive when tired and this could be the tragic consequences of both the drivers being tired. Andy
Tired = lack of attention In my humble opinion it's the no 1 cause of accidents, lapse and lack of attention
You can take it as what you like.....I don't give a flying f what you think..... ....now go and complain to El T about me again....... ......but it didn't work the last time did it?
That's a laugh coming from you............. .......but at least people know you go telling tales........ "Please Sir, Arquebus is being nasty again"
Calm down, calm down! We didn't all come to this thread to see you two going at it. That's what PM's are for.
For someone who claims not to care you do spend an inordinate amount of time replying to other people's posts...
