  6. Yes they re introduced them recently

    There are also domestic pigs loose in the forest but they are managed like the ponies cattle and donkeys -

  7. Having just spent a few days in the New Forest we were told by staff at the hotel (New Forest Hotel & Restaurant in Brockenhurst | THE PIG Hotel that there were wild boar in the forest. We didn't see any though.

    "Okay sir, tell us where you are and we will send someone as soon as possible", she replied.

    "On the M62 heading east, just beyond junction 21."

    "Okay sir, we will be with you as soon as possible, just stay with your car."

    What car? I thought to myself, as I threw more clumps of earth at passing motorists.
