  3. 5% chance of rain race day? I'm guessing though that the aussie forecasts are as bad as anywhere else in the world... the weather must be quite changeable being where it is would it X ?

  12. Melbourne, and to some extent, the Island has some of the most unpredictable weather in Oz. Has something to do with where we are in relation to the continent land mass and the highs and lows that come in from the west. That's why they call it the place with four seasons in one day. If you look at the composite radar pic it shows a huge rain band coming from the west. A week ago they were saying zero rain Saturday and Sunday, now it's rain Saturday and cloudy Sunday. And as I said there is a big rain band hanging around. As predictable as who's going to win.
