  1. He might get a little bored doing this.
    He is 1050, not 2.

  2. He is exercising his hand not his mind

  6. These are great, but maybe a bit early in your recovery. I was told to use it to regain movement in my wrists.

  9. OK I'm home now.

Got to hospital with just seconds to spare.
Signed in at 07:30, then waited with everyone else (12-15 patients, most with family) until about 9am when I got called through and did some paper work.

Had my arm marked with a huge Black arrow pointing to my left hand by the surgeon. This filled me with confidence.
SWMBO told me off for saying "perhaps you should put crosses on my legs and other arm".
" That won't be necessary" was the response.

Around 09:20 I was in with the anaesthetist and his two assistants. He kept asking questions about what he was doing. I answered three of them before I realised that one of the two assistants was a medical student doing some sort of exam. I was promptly put under and the operation was all over by 10:00.
I came around as if from a normal sleep with some very mild pain in my hand and No. 6 pain in the lower leg.
Three lots of 2mg of morphine into the IV line and all was well with the world.
After a sandwich and a quick pee I was released. A taxi ride home and it ws was 2pm, where I immediately went to sleep. Woke up around 10pm, some food and I'm comfortable.
Two small incisions each side of the back of the hand with 3 stitches. I've brused knuckles and think they either put my hand in a vice or held it in something similar. I know they pulled the three wires with pliers as this was already disclosed?
It feels like I've just broken my wrist and fingers again, but with 1\20th of the pain.
Two weeks in a 1\2 cast and then I start with the aforementioned Powerballâ„¢
Thanks for taking the time to read.
