  2. i bought so many bits off them when doing up the 748 and every time i dealt with them it was a pleasure. old school type service, nothing to much bother and a genuine interest and knowledge in what they are doing. they even return calls when they say they will which is a rarity in this day and age! :upyeah:

  3. couldn't agree more - second to none when it comes to parts dept and probably far more.

  4. As above, in fact when I bought my Scrambler I went 120 miles to them instead of the 4 miles to my local dealer!

  5. Totally agree, superb bunch over there. Always willing and able

  6. fully agree with all the above. Top service and very knowledgeable !!!
    Very rare nowadays......

  7. I deal with Craig in parts all the time. He's always super helpful even when the part in question is a £1.29 side stand bolt. Top chaps indeed.

  8. Yep top bloke I only need two fairing grommets and a clutch cover rubber seal could not have helped anymore brilliant

  9. Thread moved

  10. Yes, agree with that - he's meticulous however small the order, which one really appreciates. He also actually replies to emails, as opposed to so many (esp bike) business which have an e-address on their website but never use it. (Eg "Hello, I'm just following up an email of a week ago to which I didn't get a reply" ... "Oh, we never check 'em mate, better to ring yeah" ... "OK fine, why not just not have a 'kin email address then?" ...)

  11. It's great to hear of good customer service, but this differs from my experience. Over the years I have visited them a number of times and never really felt welcome, so I now ride past them to Snells where I have always been welcomed and bought two new bikes and had all my servicing of three bikes.

Next time I feel the need I will try MR again but unless there are new staff
    I'm not expecting a change.

That said I have heard many good things about them, maybe being fat and fifty puts them off

  12. Don't beat yourself pal, you fit the profile of their typical customer, must have been something else..:upyeah:

  13. So I have a feeling one of their sales guys is now at Snells and is not my cup of tea at all, he really managed to just about put himself out to sell my mate his scrambler, and walked passed me and my buddy twice without even saying hello the last time we were in there! I like Snells but I would try MR again as I think it might be just this guy.

The parts guy at MR is really superb, has been for years, must have been there 12+ years now

  14. Yep the guys at MR are great only had dealings with the parts guys and they are so helpful very knowledgable and alway go the extra distance.

  15. Just another thumbs up for Moto Rapido. Box of bits arrived from them yesterday. Great service & advice via phone and email whilst I sorted out what I wanted. :upyeah:

  16. This is right. Such a shame that Snells have taken on the wrong sales person.

Parts guys at Snells get a bit thumbs up from me though.

  17. Moto Rapido - Awesome for parts. They were not overly keen on my 6yr old lad fondling the 999R though, can't think why.
