Today I have been over to Chill Factore at Trafford park on the Scrambler to find out the best way to get my two eldest grandchildren (both 3yo) into skiing lessons (or at least how to get a taster session to see if they like it). Then I went to Ducati Manchester to pick something up. And then I went to # son's for a cuppa and to see my grandsons who decided they'd like to try granddad's helmet on for size Done about 100 miles, took the Scrambler over 3000 miles, and the heated grips kept the chill off
lazy day, woke with a head ache? :Angelic::smile:. slobed on the couch and enjoyed my last day of freedom. watched the snp conference, sturgeon managed to get a reference to pigs and cammoron in to her closing speech. :Hilarious::smile:. belter of a day out side, but hay looking good for ramarra.
Denholm....sandwiched in the middle of Hawick (where we got married last year) and Jedburgh, beautiful place
Spent the morning racking up pass out tokens taking the kids to cinema then cashed in my chips and went for a short but sweet ride over the hill. After a few weeks on the sewing machine it makes me appreciate it all the more!
About to go and watch Hecuba at the RSC. Apparently it's a Greek tragedy, whatever the hell that might be. Culture - here I come!!
I have done almost bugger all. Watched the MotoGP qualifying I had recorded, fell asleep again afterwards (don't know why - I had only just got up). Then forced myself outside to run the Nordic track again with its exercises. This was marginally less painful than last week - a good sign. I now feel a lot more energised. I shall now watch the ABs stamp all over France - which they'd better do, or we'll never hear the end of it on French TV.
Googled Scientology - apparently it's the belief that humans were brought to earth by aliens on a spaceship carried by two massive lizards, which landed in a volcano and dispersed humans throughout the world. Then the aliens take off, and the lizards go and hide under the sea in massive caves. Add two Italian plumbers to that and you've got the first five levels of Super Mario
Ensconced in the hotel drinking beer - lots of beer. Ran into Shaun Miur in the bar and had a very leasant chat. What a nice man although I couldn't make out who had drunk more beer, him or me :Hungover:. Pleasant end to an enjoyable day with tomorrow to look forward to and bacon sammies for breakfast mmmmmmm. What could be better ? Good night all, sleep well. Andy
