  6. Beautiful looking bike. Presume you've just bought it. Tail looks a bit heavy and needs a tail tidy but none the less almost as nice as my Panigale Tricolore.

    Its number 199 of 250.
    And I don't need any parts thanks.
    The gearbox isn't made of chocolate either.
    I don't need spare relays.
    I can use ALL the gears on the road.
    I do not have to feather the clutch around traffic islands and slow corners.
    I can see what's behind me in the mirrors, usually a Ducati.
    The Ducati is no more !
    Anyone want a Ducati Eagle Jacket ? Brand new, with tags £220. Looks good with anything other than a race bike.

  11. I had a 312rr, awsome bit of kit above about 120 mph but at legal speeds wasn't the most compliant bike. I only sold mine because I was either going to prison for riding it at speeds where it was amazing or going into a tree at legal speeds where it wasn't great.
    All this bollocks about reliability and servicing is just that, bollocks. My local MV dealer was excellent although I only needed to visit him once to get my out of warranty radiator replaced which MV did for free as it was a known fault. I'd have one again like a shot, if I had an unrestricted autobahn on my doorstep.

  15. Nor sure why but MVs always look better in flesh than in pictures - Ducatis tend to look better in pictures

    Ducati are as guilty as charged.
    Faulty, misty, cracking dash, misting headlamps, cracks in crankcases, only OEM belt supply and overcharging, to name just a few.
    But, looks like the Italians have pulled the wool over my eyes again ! We never learn do we.
    Oh, and I do not like Multistradas, Panigales or the back ends of 749's / 916's
    Me ? Negative ?
