hi guys, just bought my 2nd hyper 1100 as I missed my old one to much, was big mistake selling it. my question is: has anyone fitted the arrow headers Arrow Exhaust Headers for Ducati Hypermotard 1100 / EVO '08-'12 | eBay don't want the twin arrow cans under the seat tho. to heavy. want to use the mivv single sided carbon can (saves 7kg overall) EXHAUST MIVV DUCATI HYPERMOTARD 1100 2009 09 SUONO STEEL BLACK | eBay looking for something different as teri's are common now. good I know. but being different is good imo. also whats the thoughts on using the dp race ecu. I think it will work fine with the arrow headers and mivv can as its basically the same as the teri system just looks fifferent and saves over £1000. any thoughts on this? all input welcome.
Zard rears - theyre nice...penta I think is the model name....but, more importantly you need to get rid of the cat and get some race headers...is that a gen 1 or 2? if its a gen 2 then the gen 1 headers will fit but youll need to get the ecu rewritten as the gen 1 headers on the gen bike will foul the o2 sensor but if the bike is dyno'd the operator will delete the o2 sensor so it can be removed and have a bung put in place...
after all that decided to go for a twin sc project full system with a flashed ecu by cjs tuning. not sure what other performance mods to do yet to smooth out the throttle. what air filters are people using?
I used velocity stacks.... Nice one on the sc system.... Could never afford them. Dont use the dp ecu..... Chris will do a better job with the stock ecu. Is chris doing a flash map or is it going to cjs for a full mapping.... (i recommend a day on the dyno from personal experience) i dont take my bikes to anyone else... He just did my z1ooo a few months back and its amazing now....
yeah emailed cjs about mapping my oe ecu. £450. so will take a trip to bath when the pipes are fitted. decided to go with a full sc project system now. not sure to go with the single sided carbon or the double carbon. think the double will fill the back end out ncely ones ive fitted the carbon seat unit that i had on my last hyper. anyone got a recomendation on rearsets. i had the rizoma ones last time. had alot of vibration through them tho.
I much prefer the twin pipes on the gen 1 hyper. Some on the ms forum are using these rearsets. DUCATI HYPERMOTARD MULTISTRADA 796 1100 pedane arretrate arretratori rearsets | eBay

not used them much, fitted last week, ill give you a heads up when i've put a few more miles under them. they look lots better, but i've only done about 10 miles on them, in the rain . . . . .
Hi Tarmacassasin, Ditching the std air filter is a must, I went for the MWR filter & lid, this requires sawing the std airbox in half & fitting the non restrictive top & filter, works great, though induction roar will burst eardrums. (earplugs needed). Keep us updated.
so far so good, not bee on any really long rides or nothing yet but they feel as good as I would have hoped.
nice hyper, what exhaust is that and what belly pan is it. been looking for something to protect the lower end. how much weight did that pipe save?
thanks, zorst is a QD Ex-Box, belly pan isthe ducati carbon one (its in the spares book in the handbook) unsure about weight saving got to be a fair bit less than a stock bike as i've changed everything to carbon inc the wheels. list of mods below Carlos Checa ltd edition 48 tooth slipper clutch EVR carbon air box SC Project oil radiator Ducati Performance open clutch cover Lithium battery BST Carbon Fiber wheels ceramic front bearings Brake tech brake disc’s front and rear Brembo mono block front brake calipers (black) Brembo “evo SP” black rear brake caliper driven carbon handlebar custom rear end/tail tidy (in carbon) inc led brake light sergeant seat carbon fuel cap adjustable racing rearsets carbon ram air sides termignoni 2-1 exhaust and evo SP ECU Oury road hand grips Interphone handlebar remote Oberon clutch slave cylinder CRG Carbon brake and clutch levers (shorty) Ohlins steering damper Rental quick release rear sprocket Renthal front sprocket (15 tooth unlike everyone else) Tsubaki Sigma X-Ring Chain tiny LED rear indicators Ducati Performance Oil Plug lightweight flywheel all plastics swapped for 100% carbon fiber carbon fiber reservoir lids carbon fibre hand guards carbon fiber mirros carbon fiber reservoir mounts carbon fiber dash carbon fiber tank top cover carbon fiber tank side covers carbon fibre belt covers carbon fiber front nose carbon fibre under nose part carbon fiber front sprocket cover (x2) carbon fiber rear sprocket cover carbon fiber rear chain guard carbon fiber rear brake cylinder cover carbon fiber front mudguard carbon fiber front mudguard mounts carbon fiber front suspension leg protectors carbon fiber rear mudguard carbon fibre swingarm cover carbon fiber mudguard uprights carbon fiber frame plugs carbon fibre wind deflector carbon fiber front triangle part carbon fiber ignition surround carbon fiber front cable and oil hose tidy QD Exbox exhaust pro bolt titanium and stainless steel bolts

Looks like you spent a few quid on it Gary , wheels look very trick must be expensive , like the brembos in the black colour look great . I had a road legal cr500 with bst carbon wheels , with no tyres on they was so light . This one ...
