1200 DVT Dyno Comparison - Standard V Termi Exhaust

  1. Written directly to ECU bradders.

  2. How does that affect warranty @nelly ? I aim to keep my stuff standard ish but if the results are as good as that site I will be spending some mo way getting it done!

  3. Daft question. When the full termi is fitted and the map upload done, does it show any change on the dash when starting up like the Panigale full system does? i.e. Racing or anything? Cheers

  4. Technically.....if a problem arose with the motor then it could be disputed. If it was a chassis issue for instance then all would be fine.

  5. Not on my bike (std DVT).

  6. as said already, excellent/best thread for a while.

  7. I thought someone says it showed race during the power up somewhere on the dash? With the upmap fitted. Seem to remember reading it on other site.

Can someone and Tobers confirm that - maybe Tobers map did not take?

  8. The map is definitely on my bike. It's shows as "DP2" on the Ducati diagnostic thingy. DP2 = Ducati Performance 2. Nothing shows on the dash.

Obvious inference is that the diagnostic thing can check what map you've got installed so they'd know if you had a non-standard one (unless you called it "DP2" possibly!).

  9. I have the full termi and upmap on my DVT(s) and can confirm that Tobers is correct in what he is saying

  10. @IanR and your thoughts on riding compared to a standard DVT exhaust?

  11. See posting #144 on page 8 of this thread with regards DVT standard v Full termi Exhuast

  12. ....I should add that IMHO that the Full Termi was well worth the expense in comparison to the standard exhaust for these reasons, looks, sound and smoothing out the bottom/mid range...:upyeah:

  13. Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies, just ordered the full Termi so I wont expect to see anything on the dash when I fit it. :D:D:D.

  14. Nope, but your neck will feel it, and you will hear it, and that big green cheesy grin will certainly be across your face when riding with it.
Look forward to your thoughts when you have :)

  15. Will do , hoping its as loud as my previous Diavel full system but doubt it

  16. No would not really call it loud, but a nice deep thump :)

  17. Would be interested in your feedback on the difference in performance with the baffle in/out when you get it, particularly in the mid-range.

  18. Ian, the baffle wont be in, I've never used them on any of the bikes where they can be removed. My Diavel ones were unused when I sold it on but will feedback on the system once fitted.

  19. After seeing tobers I'm wondering if those inline baffles te affecting the performance. It's hardly straight thru with that in the way

  20. You mean the inline mini silencers? Yes, we did chat about those on Saturday. They are straight through, and there's a perforated tube which lets exhaust gases into the little cylindrical silencer things. I doubt they'd have much impact as they don't narrow the pipe diameter so aren't restrictive.
